What the hell was it that I saw this weekend?

Oh yes, the Invasion, or something like that… Those were 2 hours I am not getting back, ever… One would think that Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig in the cast would make the movie watching experience worthwhile, but… no. More: Read the rest of this entry…

Napoleon Dynamite…

…or as I’d like to call it “a plot-less babble about mediocre people” is yet another proof of how ignorance and stupidity underneath the mighty aegis of MTV’s logo can become, respectively, a “story” and a “plot” …

Whomever conceived the characterless characters of Napoleon, Pedro and that chick whose name escapes me at the moment, but she wore her hair tied in an awkward ponytail coming out of a place on her head where an ear should be… well, whomever did conceive these… creatures… had about as much insight into human nature, into nature of high school geekdom and into writing stories in general as a freakin’ hair ball that my cat just threw up on the carpet…

Then again I have yet to have gone to the Gem State to see with my eyes unclouded by HATE FOR THAT EXCUSE FOR A MOVIE and respond to an overwhelming me at the moment question: What… the fuck?

Another point for you America… Because only in America it is possible for a piece of SHIT like that to surface, and smear itself all over the silver screen of public movie theatres… Only in America will the “soccer moms” rent a bus and drive all neighborhood kids (ages 6-13) to see this… MISTIFICATION for a brainwash !!!

Well… if I picked up bits and pieces of coherency from amongst the shitload of meaningless, prolonged indefinitely dialogs, the point (? or should I write point-LESS) of the movie would be that high school students, the future of America (sic) are dumb enough to fall for a guy who apparently knows some slick disco movies ( the 3 minutes of the movie actually worth seeing ) when selecting a (class) president, someone who has no plan, barely speaks English, and is dumb enough to shave his head cuz he’s feeling hot ( do I smell a distant George “dubyah” BUSH analogy? if so it is NOT articulated LOUD enough ! )

The message is loud and clear, kindda like in Celine Dion’s song “Love comes to those who believe it, and that’s the way it is”… Apparently no matter how dorky, how big a geek, another words… no matter how much of a looser one is, one is ALWAYS bound to get a woman sooner or later. In some cases one is bound to find a transvestite-mtf, capable of attaching a shadow of a personality to one’s otherwise pointless appearance in the movie…

So, in conclusion for all you geeks and dorks suffering through high school reigns of dumbfuck-jocks and their braindead-cheerleaders, while you will NEVER be as cool as the mainstream and cool high school people, you will get a mediocre break at the right time to pursue your un cool life…

I found this movie to be offensive in its content of ridiculous stereotypes… I guess as a once-a-foreign-exchange-student in an American high school, collectively with other “dumb foreign exchange students” we were portrayed as Pedro

A true disgrace to the craft of cinematography…

I guess this truly is a country where everybody gets a chance, even the stupid fucks responsible for Napoleon Dynamite… what’s much creepier though is the fuckt how many movie-going-Americans (especially the soccer moms and their innocent, now brain-dead children) fell for it….

Congratulations MTV, you’ve proven once again that the pop-culture you are trying to create has nothing to do with style, sense nor culture 🙂

On a scale of 1 through 10 I gave it a NEGATIVE 2004 !!!

P. S.
can anyone point me to which state is the GEM STATE ? American High school Geography left me somewhat deficient in the matters of the location of some of the United states …
